Politisit has announced their hire of their first Executive Director, Paige Hook. Hook achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from Western Oregon University.

Politisit, a nonpartisan nonprofit, is teaming up with childcare facilities in Florida and Texas to ensure parents are able to vote in the 2020 Election. Making sure every eligible voter can vote is the bedrock of democracy. The cost of childcare can be a barrier to parents voting, though, especially when a long line is expected.

PORTLAND, OR: Politisit, a new non-profit that reimburses childcare costs to caregivers participating in civic events, announced the launch of the organization and its website Politisit.org today. Founded to eliminate cost as a barrier to civic participation, Politisit provides post-event reimbursements for trusted childcare while families participate in civic events.
