Your spheres of influence

A self-reflection exercise to help you map your sphere of influence — where you hold power, where you experience barriers, and where you're ready to lead.

Your Three Spheres

Think about your life across three levels. Each one is a space where you already have influence — and where you can grow.

Self

Your identity, values, privilege, and personal growth

Relationships

Your networks, who listens to you, who you influence

Community & Systems

Policies, institutions, and collective action

Where do you hold privilege?

Think about your identity, access, and opportunities. Where do systems work in your favor?

Where do you experience marginalization?

Where do systems create barriers for you or people you identify with?

What strengths do you bring?

Your skills, lived experience, connections, and passions are all assets for change.

Who are your networks? Who listens to you?

Think about the people who trust you — in your family, workplace, faith community, or social circles.

Where do you want to grow?

What areas of civic life feel unfamiliar or intimidating? Where do you want to build confidence?

You already have a sphere of influence.

Every conversation, every vote, every showing-up matters.

Civic power doesn't start in a boardroom — it starts where you already are.
